Pastor Rich Jones

Pastor Rich Jones is the Founder and Executive Chairman of Blessors of Israel. He has been the Senior Pastor of Calvary Chapel Worship in Hillsboro, Oregon since 1990. Pastor Rich has taught through the Hebrew Scriptures, the Old Testament, verse by verse, chapter by chapter, for more than 30 years. As Pastor Rich says, “When you teach through the history of Israel that many times, you come to see God’s heart and desire for His people. The promise of God that those who bless her will be blessed is as true today as when God declared it to Abraham.”

Pastor Rich has traveled extensively in Israel, teaching at many biblical sites, bringing many to appreciate not only its rich history but also its prophetic future. Pastor Rich also teaches on the modern history of Israel, connecting world events to the unfolding of biblical prophecy in the latter days.

His heart to stand with Israel against anti-Semitism in these latter days and his deep desire to bless Israel stirred him to be the Founder and Executive Chairman of Blessors of Israel.

Executive Director

Dr. Matthew Dodd

Dr. Matthew Dodd is the Executive Director of Blessors of Israel (BOI). Currently, Matthew serves as an associate pastor at Calvary Chapel Worship Center in Hillsboro, Oregon, where he regularly teaches at weekly services and group gatherings. He has worked with Pastor Rich Jones in various capacities since 1994.

In 1989, Matthew graduated from the University of Washington with his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Criminal Justice. He was later accepted into law school but declined the offer because he felt the Lord was leading him into pastoral ministry. Matthew earned his Master of Arts in Religious Studies in 2018 and his Doctor of Ministry in Apologetics in 2022 from Southern Evangelical Seminary (SES). His writings have been published in the Christian Apologetics Journal and the Journal of the International Society of Christian Apologetics.

Matthew has a heartfelt burden for Israel and her people. He has co-led tours of the Holy Land which has given him a deep appreciation for Israel’s rich history and promised future. Matthew is committed to the vision of BOI and is grateful for the honor to bless Israel through the four-fold mission of BOI. The Lord has blessed Matthew with a beautiful wife, Heidi, and together they enjoy raising their daughter and co-laboring in ministry.

Georgene Rice

As an international news correspondent, Georgene Rice has traveled extensively to Israel. She has been a Christian voice and advocate for Israel for more than 30 years as host of a radio talk show, lecturer on university campuses, and frequent speaker at Christian conferences. She has a love and passion for Israel, a commitment to stand with Israel, to advocate for her and standing against anti-Semitism around the world.
